3. Your Content
You own all screenplays and content you create in ScriptForge. We do not claim ownership of your work.
4. Subscriptions & Payments

5. Prohibited Use
You may not use ScriptForge to generate illegal, harmful or infringing content. You may not attempt to copy, scrape or clone the ScriptForge application.
6. Use of AI Conversion Features (Story & Thread to Screenplay)
ScriptForge provides tools to convert stories, ideas and social media threads into screenplays using AI. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you submit to these features. Do not submit content that belongs to another person without their permission. ScriptForge is not responsible for any misuse of third-party stories, ideas or threads through these conversion tools, and accepts no liability for intellectual property disputes arising from content submitted by users.
⚠️ AI-Generated Content & Copyright
Screenplays generated or substantially assisted by AI may not be eligible for copyright protection under applicable law. Do not claim full copyright ownership of AI-generated screenplays. You may own the creative contributions you personally made, but the AI-generated portions are not protected intellectual property. ScriptForge makes no warranties regarding the copyright status of any AI-generated content produced on this platform.
7. Fair Use of Screenplay Limits
Each subscription plan includes a specific number of screenplay slots and a maximum number of scenes per screenplay. You must use each screenplay record for a single, distinct screenplay only. The following practices are strictly prohibited:
(a) Internal stitching — combining multiple screenplays into a single screenplay record to circumvent plan limits.
(b) External scene stitching — exporting scenes, deleting them, writing new scenes in the same project, and exporting again to combine the exported files externally into a single longer screenplay.
ScriptForge uses automated detection systems to identify both forms of stitching. If a violation is detected, you will receive a warning and the export may be blocked. Repeated violations may result in immediate termination of your subscription without refund.
8. Desktop & Laptop Use Only
ScriptForge is designed and optimised for use on desktop and laptop computers with modern web browsers. It has not been developed or tested for mobile phones or tablets. We do not guarantee a smooth or fully functional experience on mobile devices. For the best experience, please use ScriptForge on a desktop or laptop.
9. Limitation of Liability
ScriptForge is provided "as is". We are not liable for data loss or service interruptions. Always keep backups of your work.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
